We are working with limited desk and classroom space. That, combined with the simple fact that many third graders are easily distracted by their supplies, we ask that you stick to the above list. Thank you.

FROM THE DESK OF………MRS. MAROCCO

June 7, 2011
Dear Parents and Guardians,

WELCOME! My name is Mrs. Angela Marocco and I will be teaching your daughter’s third grade class. I am very excited to teach the all girls third grade class, I am sure we will have a lot of fun together! Let me briefly introduce myself. This fall will be my third year teaching at Windemere Park Charter Academy and I am thrilled to be here. I have chosen to teach at WPCA because I am impressed with the dedication to excellence from the parents, staff, and students.
You might be wondering what you can expect from me this year. I am determined to dedicate myself to your student and their learning. I will make sure every student feels safe and comfortable, which will allow students to take risks in their learning. I will speak and treat both my students and parents with respect. As a parent, I realize that your child is one of your most important concerns. I appreciate any and all help that I can get from parents! You are an essential component to your child’s education and success.
I would like to take this opportunity to express some of the classroom expectations for the year. Students will be expected to be on time to class, dressed in the appropriate uniform, with homework complete, and ready to learn. It is also expected that students will be respectful to others and put forth their best efforts. Our classroom rules and guidelines will be further developed as a class community. This will help ensure that each student understands and respects our learning environment.
Please do not hesitate to communicate with me if you have any concerns or questions. I am open to discussing any and all concerns, no matter how big or small. I can be reached by phone at 517-327-0700 ext. 203 (before or after school hours), via note sent with your child or by email at 27.amarocco@nhamail.com. If you need to contact me over the summer email is the best form of communication. I will be sending home newsletters on a weekly basis with information about our classroom activities and upcoming events.
Thank you for entrusting me with the education of your child. School supply lists will be sent home in your child’s last report card on Thursday, June 9th. I look forward to a great year together!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Marocco
